Our hard-hitting hyper-local second-screen experience for both mobile and tablet showed how burglary can affect your life.
We used locational data to serve an arresting infographic: your street, and its burglary stats via a visual mash-up of Google Street View and crime stats from data.police.uk. It was coupled with a statistic related to the psychological effects of burglary.
The results were massive for ADT, since launch in September 2013 it has led directly to a 7.5% increase in appointments for security consultants to residential addresses. The trend of dual screening has also led to a 42% increase in site visits while the ADT TV ads are screening. What’s more, sales conversions from the mobile site have increased by over 400%.
The judges at the Smarties were clearly impressed too and we’ve given our nice shiny award pride of place in the office.
